This past June, our big family decided to trade the bustling city streets for the tranquil charm of the Mekong Delta. With everyone on board, our teambuilding trip on June 19th was way more than just a quick getaway-it was a journey packed with non-stop laughter, tight bonding, and some seriously unforgettable firsts.
Living up to our official slogan “Teams On, Streams On”, we truly wrote a vibrant new chapter for our summer memories!
A Taste of the Mekong Delta and Unstoppable Laughter
Our destination was a classic Southern Vietnamese combo: Lan Vuong – Thoi Son – Con Phung Eco-tourism zones. Once there, everyone ditched their polished office personas, threw on traditional, rustic brown “bà ba” outfits, and dove headfirst into authentic countryside living.
Watching our tech-savvy team members clumsily navigate wooden rowboats or splash around in the muddy ditches trying to catch bare-handed fish brought endless waves of laughter. The absolute highlight, though, had to be the cycling challenge over the narrow wooden planks-giving us spectacular, splashy wipeouts and enthusiastic cheers that echoed across the water.
Soaking Up Culture and Strengthening Our Bond
Beyond the games, we also got a taste of the region’s culture and history — enjoying traditional Southern folk music (Đờn ca tài tử) and local specialties along the way. Sampling the fresh, rich flavours of Mekong food while listening to the sweet, local melodies gave us the perfect moment to slow down and just enjoy each other’s company.
But at the end of the day, the best part was seeing teammates support one another, take on challenges together, and create memories that will be talked about long after the trip. Under the June sun, there were no barriers between departments; there were only hands reaching out to help, encouraging shouts, and brilliant smiles after every conquered game.
Recharged and Ready to Crush the Rest of the Year!
The trip has wrapped up, but the massive wave of positive energy it brought back is still buzzing loudly through our workspace. We played hard, and now it’s time to flip the switch and work with 200% energy.
The deep connection we built during this countryside adventure is the ultimate launchpad for us to collaborate better, understand each other more deeply, and smash our upcoming targets. No matter what challenges lie ahead in the final six months of the year, we know that as long as we move together, every single journey will be a successful one.
